I thought this poetic excerpt from the picture book All the World was appropriate for July. We expanded the vegetable garden in our backyard this year -- it's still not all that big, but it's filled with healthy foods, including tomatoes and corn. We haven't been able to harvest those yet, but have used quite a bit of our fresh lettuce and green peppers already, yum!
