Cat Kisses

Sandpaper kisses
On a cheek or a chin
That is the way
For a day to begin!

Sandpaper kisses
A cuddle, a purr.
I have an alarm clock
Covered with fur.

This poem makes me smile. :)  It reminds me of the cat I had growing up, Hobbit (best kitty ever!) -- he loved to wake me up with his sandpaper kisses.  I sure do miss him.
